VOLUNTEER AGREEMENT FORM

All volunteers must agree to all conditions outlined below before their first assignment.

1. I will treat all animals and other volunteers with respect, and I will work as a team member with all volunteers.

2. I am aware that as a volunteer of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal Care & Control, I am acting as a representative of the organization and agree to maintain a professional demeanor.

3. I agree that shelter animals are owned solely by and are the property of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal Care & Control. As a volunteer of this organization, I will not withhold, sell or give away any animal entrusted to me by the organization.

4. I will not be reimbursed for any expense that I incur while volunteering for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal Care & Control.

5. I understand and agree that any statements or opinions I express about Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal Care & Control or the City of Charlotte are my own personal views. They do not represent official positions, policies or statements of the shelter or the City of Charlotte.

6. I understand that Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal Care & Control reserves the right to discontinue my volunteer services at any time and for any reason at its sole discretion.
