The Faith in Housing Technical Assistance Grant is designed to support faith-based organizations that are exploring projects that serve the community, including affordable housing, transitional housing, shelters, or other mission-driven developments.
Through this grant, selected organizations may receive up to $30,000 to support early-stage planning and technical services such as feasibility studies, architectural design, site planning, or development consulting. These funds are intended to help organizations better understand the potential of their property or project and take meaningful steps toward bringing their vision to life. This grant aims to provide resources to support projects that strengthen neighborhoods and expand access to housing and community-serving spaces.
Applications will be accepted on a competitive basis, and at least 25 grants are expected to be awarded. Applicants must demonstrate a clear interest in pursuing a project located within the City of Charlotte that provides a community benefit.
