City of Charlotte Civic Leadership Academy Application

Thank you for your application to the Civic Leadership Academy (CLA).

Applicants must reside in the City of Charlotte. Please fill out the following application in full, as this is a competitive application process. Only 42 seats are available in the Fall 2023 cohort. Therefore, we encourage applicants to be thoughtful, earnest, innovative and engaging in completing their application. Answering questions thoroughly will help the selection committee get to know you better.

Applications must be received no later than 11:59 PM on August 1, 2023.

This cohort will be a hybrid academy, with some sessions held in-person and others virtual. For the virtual sessions, a computer or mobile device and internet access are required. (Let us know if you need assistance with hardware or internet access.) Before applying, please review program details and check all dates on your calendar. Participants may only miss up to 3 sessions.
