The Metropolitan Transit Commission is now accepting applications to the new Public Transit Advisory Committee.
The deadline for applications is Friday, January 3, 2025.
The Public Transit Advisory Committee (PTAC) was established by the Metropolitan Transit Commission (MTC) beginning January 1, 2025 through an interlocal agreement between the City of Charlotte, Mecklenburg County and the six towns. PTAC replaces the Citizens Transit Advisory Group (CTAG) and the Transit Services Advisory Committee (TSAC).

You will be notified if nominated and/or appointed. Applications remain active for one year. All members are required to attend at least 65% of the regular and special meetings of the body held in any one calendar year. Please take time to review the attendance policy and other rules pertaining to PTAC.
Applications are subject to the N.C. Public Records Law (NCGS 132-1) and may be released upon request.
