Neighborhood Board Retreat

Thank you for your interest in the 2026 Neighborhood Board Retreat, hosted by the City of Charlotte’s Housing & Neighborhood Services Department. This year’s theme, Building a Stronger Board Together, is designed for boards seeking to improve internal alignment, support leadership continuity, and strengthen how they function as a team through clearer roles, stronger onboarding and leadership practices, and building board credibility and community trust. Neighborhood organizations (HOA's, Neighborhood Associations, and Neighborhood Coalitions) must have at least four participants for their application to be considered. All participants can be listed on one application.

To apply for the Neighborhood Board Retreat, please complete the registration form below. For-profit businesses and non-profits not linked to a specific neighborhood are ineligible.
