Application for Appointment as Mayor

Application deadline is Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at 5 p.m.

To qualify for consideration, applicants are required to:
• Be a registered Democrat
• Be a registered voter
• Be 21 years of age or older
• Reside within the corporate boundaries of the City, and
• Be qualified to vote in City Council elections

NOTE: All eligible candidates invited by City Council for consideration as interim mayor must appear in person at a candidates forum on a date to be determined.
