The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Emerging Youth Leadership Award Application is for high school students in the Greater Charlotte area who are making a difference in their community. A student committed to service, leadership, and positive social change, who embodies the values that Dr. King stood for: justice, equality, and community empowerment.Through active involvement in community service initiatives.

Community Service Contribution

Please include all volunteer, service, and leadership hours and roles you have held. Examples may include church involvement, serving as a team captain, section leader, drum major, participation in JROTC, volunteering at a local food bank, or coordinating student-led initiatives focused on inclusion. Please describe each entry separately.

Essay
