Community Cat Spay/Neuter Application

The Community Cat Spay/Neuter program was created to help lower the overpopulation of feral and community cats in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg area.

This program is specific to cats that are not owned (meaning no one is caring for or feeding roaming cats), or feral cat colonies. It is not meant for cats who are going to be re-homed.

This program is only for cats who are roaming/living in Charlotte-Mecklenburg and is NOT for owned or cared for cats.

Cats who are 8 months and older can receive this service. Any cats under that age will be added to the wait list until they are 8 months.

This program is $25 per cat and includes all of the following required services:

  • Ear Tipping
  • Microchip
  • 1 year distemper vaccine
  • 1 year rabies vaccine

We are NOT able to provide FIV/FeLV tests.

In order to provide this service and have the microchipped registered to a person, we do need personal info so that should the cat be picked up it can be returned back to their home.
