A Space to Place Application

Do you have a great idea for bringing new life to a park, plaza or neighborhood gathering spot? We want to see it! Follow along for creative inspiration from across Charlotte and share your own vision to help shape the future of our public spaces.

Whether it’s a street corner that could use a bench or a plaza ready for colorful seating, we want to see the places you think deserve a public space glow-up.

Post a video or photo of a community space where you'd love to see public furniture added.
Tag @clturbandesign in your post.
Complete the application below.

Rules to keep in mind:

Spaces must not be in the public right-of-way.
Ideal locations are shared, community-friendly spaces.

Applications are open through June 30.
