Welcoming Week Registration Form

Mark your calendars for Welcoming Week 2024, running from Sept. 13-22, with an exciting launch event at the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Government Center! This year's theme, "We’re ALL in!" celebrates unity and inclusion across our community.

You're invited to our Welcoming Week Launch on Friday, Sept. 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. which will have ongoing events throughout the day with a vendor fair and panel discussions. Use the form below to let us know you are coming and which events you would like to attend throughout the day.

Welcoming Week is an annual series of events that brings together immigrants, refugees, and long-term residents to build strong connections and affirm the importance of welcoming and inclusive communities. Proudly, we are the only state in the South with Welcoming Certification, affirming our commitment to making everyone feel at home.

12:30-1:30 p.m. Panel Discussion "Youth Voices: Fitting Into the Puzzle of Unity"

1:45-2:45 p.m. Panel Discussion "Being ALL In: Defining and Achieving Community Inclusion"

2:15-3 p.m. Panel Discussion "Global Perspectives: The International Experience in Charlotte"

3-3:45 p.m. Panel Discussion"Beyond Language: Achieving Equity and Deep Community Connections"
