The City of Charlotte is launching a new program to support the creation of Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs), also known as backyard cottages, garage apartments, or in-law suites. This program will offer financial assistance and technical support for eligible property owners who want to build and rent an ADU at affordable rates.
