The City of Charlotte has launched its new Skilled to Build initiative to position talent for success as upcoming mobility and transportation projects create new job opportunities.Under this new initiative the Office of Workforce Development is accepting grant proposals for Talent Development and Training as well as Employer Engagement and Training.
We are seeking qualified organizations to prepare talent for occupations in construction and skilled trades or strengthen business capacity through talent sourcing and workforce training grants that support hiring, development and upskilling new and current employees.
