Permits issued pursuant to this section may allow additional amplification only between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and between 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. Friday or Saturday.

Permits are tentatively approved and subsequently granted by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department. The applicant is responsible for mailing, or otherwise delivering, to each property owner within a one-thousand (1000) feet of the property for which the permit has been granted, a notice stating the date and time of the event. The notice shall be delivered at least seventy-two (72) hours in advance of the event. The applicant is then required to submit a notarized statement stating that the required notification was made.
